Divine Grace
Blessed are the poor in spirit,
Being so lost from grace,
For theirs is the kingdom of heaven,
Its there they’ll find their place…
Blessed are those who mourn,
Godly sorrow over sin,
For they shall be comforted,
By the kingdom of within…
Blessed are the meek,
Supreme in self control,
For they shall inherit the earth,
As it has been foretold…
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
Sought from God above,
For they shall be filled,
By Holy Spirit n’ God’s love…
Blessed are the merciful,
True compassion for those in need,
For they shall obtain mercy,
As stated in the creed…
Blessed are the pure in heart,
Seeking the highest good for those they love,
For they shall see God,
Even if they loose their dove…
Blessed are the peacemakers,
Love those who hate them through and through,
For they shall be called sons of God,
Accordingly as due…
Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness sake,
Behold the supreme Judge listens at the door,
For theirs is the kingdom of heaven,
For that they can endure…

The Witness
Alone I study and ponder,
As I seek God’s will,
So short, so lost, a sinner,
I feel a sudden chill…
As I learn the scriptures,
I realize my own unfitness,
My pen moves for the glory of God,
As a witness…
Jesus did give warning,
In his Sermon on the Mount,
“Do the will of my father”,
Or professions will not count…
Jesus came not to change the law,
Nor give to us free will,
But to instruct with God’s authority,
For the law shall be fulfilled…
Behooved unto you to study,
What that very day was said,
Faith and Profession are essential,
But without obedience they’re dead…
Do you live in a constant state of sin???
Yet say that you believe???
You say that you’re a Christian!!!
But it’s yourself that you deceive…
Did you say the little formula???
Or sign the dotted line???
If you think a Christian that does make,
You’ll find out in due time…
If you desire to be well liked,
And you retain your pride and vanity,
You can attend services twice a week,
And only have “Church-i-anity”…
So, if you truly received “The Christ”,
And are born into new life,
The righteousness of how “YOU LIVED”,
Will testify to that right…
With the holy spirit within you,
It’s the righteous path you’ll seek,
You’ll live your life accordingly,
Contrite, humble, n’ meek…
As you learn the whole truth,
And after you have cried,
Well upon your way are you,
To say goodbye to your pride…
That’s difficult I know,
For a vacuum is created,
And it will be filled by our lord,
At this you’ll be elated…
Then give the glory for all your abilities,
And accomplishments to God,
If you don’t give him due love n’ glory,
He won’t give you the nod…
All sins and works of iniquity,
From them you must depart,
Read on for there is so much more,
That’s only just the start…
Seek “HIS WILL” not yours,
Glorify him in all you say and do,
Serve the lord to find new life,
In his kingdom when it’s through…
Ask yourself so truly,
To self examine and be objective,
Compare your life to the scriptures,
Be honest and introspective…
Distinguish between what is of God,
And what is of the Devil and man’s creation,
Be loyal to the godhead,
Not a manmade denomination...
Educate yourself of the scriptures,
Or you will pay full cost,
For it’s no less than eternal life,
That’s standing to be lost…
For very few is the number,
That will find the kingdoms “narrow” gate,
For the “many” on the “Broadway”,
I fear it will be too late…
Many will say unto him,
Calling O’ “Lord” “Lord”,
And when he says “depart, I know you not”,
Then surely you’ll be floored…
Come with the heart of a child,
With beatitudes so humble,
Never stop seeking his will,
For God knows you will stumble…
If the kingdom of heaven you seek,
Love God and fear his wrath,
Confess to “God” Repent for your sins,
And seek the righteous path…
Seek his will each day,
And all that’s good and right,
Do it all for his love and glory,
And you won’t be dismissed from sight…
So if you’re claiming sanctification,
On judgment day you may sadly find,
An illusion of a personal relation,
Was only created in your mind…
So don’t try to put the blame on others,
Saying that you were led astray,
Be proactive for there are no excuses,
Come the judgment day…
Only for the flock of his son,
Has God such infinite mercy,
For all the rest he reserves his wrath,
As executioner, Judge, and Jury…
For Verily Verily he said unto you,
Whom of sin ye do partake,
That the sheep of his flock know his voice,
And the righteous path he takes…
All glory, praise, and love to God … For these are his principles not mine… Knowing them and hearing them isn’t enough, they must be
lived !!! Struggle every day to keep them, and every day to seek God’s will to be a Christian… All of us are sinners and sadly come so short…
Confess to “God” alone, and repent for your sins daily… Pray that the ministry of the Holy Spirit will lead us to Jesus and that the ministry of Jesus will deliver us to God… Divine strength can be ours if we seek it…
“I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me” (Phil. 4:13)

The Holy Bible
The Bible is so special,
For it contains God’s mind, 2 Tim 3:16
Which perfectly converts the soul,
Making the wise onto simple kind…Ps 19:7
The Bible is my truth, John 17:17
God’s blessing when obeyed, Luke 11:28
I Hear the word of God and keep it, Luke 11:28
And surely I’ll be saved…
The Bible is my Victory,
Sword of spirit O’ word of God, Eph 6:17
Persevering in supplication, Eph 6:18
As the journey of life I trod…
The Bible is my growth,
Mothers milk to thereby grow, 1 Peter 2:2
I taste for the lord is gracious, 1 Peter 2:3
Of scriptures I may know…
The Bible is my power, Rom 1:16
Of it I’m not ashamed,
It’s power unto salvation,
That of which is gained…
The Bible is my guidance,
Lighting my rugged path, Ps 119:105
Quicken for I’m afflicted, Ps 119:107
Lest I incur God’s wrath…
My lord I do believe, John 6:68, 69
And honor it so true, Job 23:12
I’ll love it and obey it Ps, 119.97 1 John 2:5
And guard it as it’s due…1 Tim 6:20
I’ll fight for it with sword!!! Jude 3
Study n’ witness so very humble, 2 Tim 4:2
And rightly divide the word of truth, 2 Tim 2:15
Contritely as I stumble…
